A monitoring alert, failed inverter, damaged module or electrical fault does not automatically require full system replacement. Start with safe isolation and diagnosis, then compare a targeted repair with the smallest technically complete replacement boundary. Evaluate service and planned loads
Document service rating, panel condition, load basis and future vehicles, heat pumps or storage. Separate safety correction from optional capacity. A solar fault alone does not prove a service upgrade is required.
Coordinate roof work
Inspect roof condition, penetrations, mounting and drainage. Compare removal and reset with replacement when reroofing is planned. Assign weatherproofing and warranty interfaces.
